Independent Contractors/Language Professionals
We welcome professional linguists and translators from around the world to apply to work with Prisma.
We qualify all of our suppliers according to our ISO 9001:2008 quality process, and carefully match the right professionals to the specific needs of a given project. The following minimum items are required for working with Prisma:
- email address;
- experience in professional translation (specific qualifications will be evaluated);
- ability to read a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Reader;
- ability to use translation memory tools such as SDL-TRADOS®.

Prisma Language Supplier Packet: Once you have completed the application process, you will be sent a Prisma Language Supplier Packet. Included in this material is a Service Agreement, which must be completed and returned prior to any projects being offered. US residents must also complete the Substitute Form W-9 prior to payment being made.

Account Manager
Prisma International is currently seeking a full-time sales and account manager.
The Account Manager is responsible for generating new sales and developing business relationships and partnerships for Prisma, a language translation and localization firm.
The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in the Translation/ Localization industry and be comfortable with cold calling, prospecting and developing new accounts. Other areas of experience would include global or international marketing, experience in medical device marketing, and/or technical communication expertise.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate success in new sales and client account growth and profitability, and experience in preparing estimates and answering RFPs.
The ability to work in a team environment, appreciate the complexities of a multilingual business, and demonstrate a peerless commitment to client service, are all essential qualities for the successful candidate.
